Job Title: Director of Girls Programs                                              

Target Start Date: August-September 2019

                                                                                                                       

Job Summary

 

Trilogy Lacrosse is looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for lacrosse education to fill the role of Director of Girls Programs. This individual will be responsible for growing our girls programming. This individual will also be charged with playing an active leadership role in executing existing girls programming. This position is based in Jersey City, NJ. Travel and weekend work are required based on event calendar.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with high school, youth and club program directors in order to recruit players and teams to attend Trilogy events
  • Play a key role both operationally and instructionally in all girls programs within framework of Trilogy best practices and systems
  • Execute and improve existing girls programming including Spring Break Training, Future Aces Camps, Winter League, Tournaments and our Intensive Club Experience program.
  • Conduct market research in order to understand trends and create programming opportunities
  • Sell event registrations to individuals and teams through local, regional and national relationships
  • Develop, implement and train staff in Curriculum for events of various length and audiences
  • Manage staffing of all girls events
  • Supervise the delivery of all communication with coaches, parents and players for all girls programming

Required Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

  • Strong interpersonal relationships with program directors, coaches, players, parents and staff at collegiate through youth levels
  • Excellent leadership skills and coaching ability
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of college recruiting process
  • Ownership mentality for position related responsibilities and company as a whole
  • Roll-up your sleeves attitude with a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Professional and courteous oral and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills: ability to prioritize and multi-task jobs associated with the position
  • Ability to work independently or within group dynamic
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel and PowerPoint; as well as experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or recruiting database tools.

 

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years coaching experience at the collegiate and/or high school level
